1971 Corvette Coupe This is a number matching, 1971 Chevrolet Corvette.
The car was purchased in Akron, Ohio, and eventually found its way to
Georgia, where the 5th owner purchased the car in the spring of 2003. The car was built in January 1971, in Saint Louis, MO.
It has been repainted the original Brands Hatch Green, and the interior
is the original Saddle Leather Deluxe. This
Corvette is a bit unusual with a 4 speed manual transmission, together with
luxury options like air conditioning (from Ohio!) and power windows. The 1971 Corvette is considered a 3rd generation
(C3) Vette, beginning in 1968, and ending in 1982.
Only the first 5 years of C3s had chrome bumpers front and rear, later
being replaced with “rubber” painted bumpers.
The 1971 still retained the removable rear window, which was dropped in
1973. Production of the 1971 coupe
model totaled 14,680 units, but only 2,387 had the M21 manual transmission. 1971 Base Coupe with Custom
