As
a young boy, Dallas Mize dreamed of owning an Opel GT. Now more than two decades
later, Mize’s pride and joy, a customized 1970 Opel GT he calls “Spyder,”
was honored with the prestigious Food Lion AutoFair Best of Show Award Sunday as
the four-day automotive extravaganza concluded at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. This
auto Fair is the largest car show in the southeast and had over 3000 vehicles
registered. The show had a great crowd and had over 100,000 people walk through
the speedway.
